Your data, kept simple.

Who we are
This website is run by Runeweld. We decide how the personal data described here is used. For any question or request about your data, send us a message.
What we collect, and why
- Early-access list. Your email address, where you signed up from, and when you signed up and confirmed. We use it only to tell you about Runeweld's early access and launch. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by clicking the confirmation link we email you.
- Contact form. Your name, email address, business name if you give it, and your message. We use it to reply to you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us.
- Abuse protection. To stop automated spam, we keep a scrambled (one-way hashed) form of your IP address for up to 24 hours. It can't be turned back into your address.
- Server logs. Like every website, our host records basic technical details of visits (such as IP address and browser) to keep the service running and secure.
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share your data for marketing. The only cookie is a strictly necessary one used when our own staff sign in to the site's admin area.
How long we keep it
- Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- The early-access list is kept until shortly after launch, and no longer than 12 months after that, or until you ask us to remove you.
- Contact messages are deleted automatically after 12 months.
Who else handles it
The website and its data are hosted by our web hosting provider, Namecheap, whose servers may be outside the UK. Where data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards. If we use an email service to send the launch announcement, we will share your email address with it for that purpose only.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Send us a message and we'll act on it promptly, and within one month at the latest. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
